I'm curious, what are the two lines and the board we can see in your cuddy below the instrument panel?

The starboard "line" is just the drawstring from the sailbag, only to secure it from blowing away. Also a dangling bungy which I attach to the keel lever to help keep it up when moored.

On the port side is the bitter end of the anchor rode.

The vertical board is a piece of oak that was fitted by some previous owner. It runs from the hull to the top of the cuddy and is glassed to the centerboard trunk. I strenghtens the roof of the cuddy and the centerboard trunk. Probably not necessary, but easiter to leave it in place.

Now as for the blue foam "noodles", I buy the ones with a hollow core for $1, slit them lengthwise, and slip them over the coaming. Makes a very comfy backrest and easy on the buttocks when hiking our over the rail. They only last a few sails, but for a buck they are worth it!
